To my very dear friend Ann. We first met when I went to work at Sutton Hospital over 40 years ago where you then worked as a HCA. I remember encouraging you to do your training as I knew you would make a wonderful nurse and am so pleased to say that you proved me right and was a great credit to nursing !!
Over the years we had some great times - you and Jack came to Ireland for our wedding and 2 years later you became Godmother to our first son Andrew - we couldn't have chosen better.
In all the time that I knew you, you never changed - you had a big heart, full of love, kindness and fun.
I miss our chats and meet ups. Over the last year due to Covid (and the nature of my job) our meetings were sadly limited but we still spoke every week and were planning our April meet up after lockdown.
I miss you more than words can say, but my memories of you will always stay.
I know that you are now reunited with Jack where you can both be happy together again forever.
The saddest part was that we never got to say goodbye.
Rest in Peace sweet lady. Love you lots always. XX
Ann
